Donna & John married at the Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro in May of 2022.
Having initially met Donna and John months earlier at Loch Lubnaig, were we held their pre-wedding shoot, they were both aware of what to expect and how I get the best natural photographs of my couples. With that preparation in the bag, they were ready for the big day.
Donna and her bridesmaid prepared for the day from Donna and John’s home in Callander before heading to the Hotel where John was waiting with their guests. Despite it being Spring, the weather was akin to a a Summer day with blue skies and warm sunshine offering the perfect setting for wedding photography at Dunblane Hydro. The short ceremony gave way to canapes and conversation with guests, before the day sparked into life by a visit from the singing waiters. Before the evening guests arrived, the Bride and Groom took a walk with me through the expansive gardens of the hotel for their newlywed portraits. With a Ceilidh kicking off the reception at night the Partying didn’t stop until the lights went out and a fabulous day was had by everyone.
