Lynsey and James had a small but special summer wedding in October last year. With just a few family members descending on the small village of Portpatrick on the coast of Dumfries and Galloway they held their wedding in the Mount Stewart Hotel. A picturesque location with clear views across the sea to Northern Ireland.
They exchanged their vows in the open air conservatory of the Hotel, which overlooks the harbour and beach. Getting the kids involved by having them present the rings during the ceremony, it was was a beautiful moment when the children ran up to give their mum a huge hug as they were pronounced husband and wife.
Before heading back to their Summer wedding at the hotel for the speeches and meals, we headed down to the seafront for some newlywed portraits. Despite it being an overcast day, that gave us the bonus of the beach being rather quiet and we had lots of space to capture some photographs that perfectly showcased their love for each other.
