Micro-weddings have become the default option for anyone getting married in 2020. But that doesn’t mean they are any less meaningful, romantic or fun!
Laura and Gary started their day at the Radstone hotel, where they’d later return for a meal and celebration with just a few family and close friends. After the short limo ride to the Chatelherault, Laura arrived at the Duke’s Hunting Lodge which has stunning views over Lanarkshire and beyond as far as Ben Lomond on a clear day.
Flanked by their three girls as bridesmaids, they were married in a beautiful ceremony by John Leo Scott that blended tradition with some quirky touches like filling a jar with different coloured sand by Gary, Laura and each of the girls.
After the socially-distanced, masked ceremony, the weather held out and there was a chance for some group photos from the couples social bubbles outside in the gorgeous gardens before heading back to the Radstone to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
