WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE CHRONICLE PHOTOGRAPHY?

Because we’ll have great fun! When it comes to working with me, I’m all about just enjoying the experience. I’ll chat and get to know you, tell some stories and probably some Dad jokes. Having a professional photo shoot isn’t just about the end result of beautiful photographs on your wall or coffee tale. It should be about doing something as a couple, family or friends, so my goal is to have you leave the session feeling like you had a blast and even if there were no photographs to see at the end, you’d have had great time just like if you’d had a day at the beach or park as normal. Of course – there will be awesome photographs at the end of it!

DO YOU SELL GIFT VOUCHERS?

Yes! A Chronicle Photography gift voucher is an ideal gift for everyone.

Our vouchers are suitable for any occasion – Christmas, birthdays, engagements, weddings, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day … or just as a special thank surprise.

Several Vouchers are available:

  •  Portrait Session Package – £250
    • A photo session in a location of their choice.
    • A weekday or weekend session.
    • £250 print credit (That’s enough to get a 9×6″ album or wall art like canvases or framed prints at 15×10″ size)

You can choose to add additional credit to your gift voucher, buy one for yourself or as a gift. We are able to process vouchers online or over the phone, and can post or email them out the same day.

Vouchers do not expire and are not transferable or refundable.

WHAT DOES A PHOTO SESSION INVOLVE?

Your photo session takes place in at one of several locations, usually hand-picked by Chronicle Photography, such as those you can read about on my locations page. I only use safe, public spaces where you can be totally at ease. When specifically requested, I can do the shoot at your home, if you have the space either using your decor as the backdrop or providing neutral ones for you. 

The shoot itself is usually around an hour and can incorporate a outfit change if you have one (and there is somewhere to change). I’ll already have the specific shots in mind that you are looking for from our pre-shoot discussions and will give direction as required, but if something inspires me or you during the session, we can absolutely include those ideas. The pace tends to be quite relaxed to help you feel at ease. 

DO I NEED TO MAKE A BOOKING?
Yes. All sessions are by appointment only and I do book up to a year in advance. 

Once you pay the session fee, your date and time are confirmed.

HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?

The easiest way to make a booking is by using my contact form or you can call 07738596610 to speak to me directly. 

Once your enquiry is received I will reply with our full session information and available times and dates.  When a date and time is agreed, an online booking form will be emailed to you. Simply complete this form and return it within three business days along with your session fee payment and you are all booked in. All the instructions will be contained in that email.

My office hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00, excluding time I’m out on a shoot, but I will get back to you as soon as possible.

WHAT ARE YOUR PHOTO SESSION TIMES?

My photo session appointments are primarily weekends, but we can arrange midweek sessions too.

WHERE IS CHRONICLE PHOTOGRAPHY LOCATED?
My home base is Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, but by not being tied to a permanent studio, I am able to fulfil photography sessions throughout Scotland, the UK and further afield.
 
HOW LONG AFTER MY PHOTO SHOOT CAN I VIEW THE IMAGES?

Your personal, private online gallery will be ready within 2 weeks of your shoot date, and remain open for 2 weeks for you to make any purchases or share with family and friends. 

HOW DO I BUY PRINTS OR PRODUCTS?
From the comfort of your couch! 

People often tell me that photographs are their most precious visual memories and I appreciate that you will want to make the right choices from your gallery. After all, your photographs will be in your home for many years to come.

Before your session, it is well worth considering where you’d like to hang your photographs and the sizes of images or products you’ll want. This can help alleviate the stress of decision making once you get your gallery and helps during the photo session itself as the images can be shot wide or in tight depending on how they will be displayed.  

Your gallery will only be available for 2 weeks. During the first 48 hours of the gallery going live there is a special discount on any purchases made. This discount is not available after the 48 hours expire. 

To make a purchase, navigate to any photograph and choose the ‘cart’ or ‘shopping basket’ option in the top corner of the image, which will then bring up a menu. Simply then choose a package or individual print and head to the checkout. All of these instructions are built into the gallery.

Bespoke albums and Wall Art are available and are discussed at your session. These can be ordered at the booking, or separately be emailing me.

All orders must be placed by the end of the gallery viewing period. 

WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS ONCE I’VE CHOSEN MY PRINTS AND PRODUCTS?
Orders from your gallery offer two payment options;
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Paypal 
HOW MANY PRINTS DO I HAVE TO BUY AND CAN I CHOOSE THE SIZES?
That’s entirely up to you.
You can decide to buy one print, all of them or none! 
Your Online Gallery allows you to choose whatever combination you want. We do however recomend our print packages – Keepsake, Treasure and Adore. These allow you to bundle 5, 10 or all of your images as a combined print and digital collection with great savings compared to buying them idividually. 
 
Have you considered prints mounted on aluminum? They add a modern, sleek look to any home. Or how about a series of striking canvas prints, ready to hang? We also offer framed pieces, made by Perth’s finest craftsmen and available in a range of size combinations.

HOW LONG DO THE PRODUCTS TAKE TO ARRIVE ONCE ORDERED?
Gallery orders will usually be shipped within a few business days, with digital orders being available immediatly. 
Bespoke products will be printed and ready approximately 3 weeks after your order is placed.
